Finally, some useful accessibility options in Windows 7!
Apparently windows 7 comes with much better accessibility options for those of us with a variety of sensory integration disorders on the autistic spectrum, such as, just one example, the ability to switch between high contrast mode and regular display mode with a keyboard shortcut. The easiest way to get in to the complete menu is via Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access. However, for more advanced and/or curious users, there is a "god mode" available that has all the useful settings for the entire system under one menu, much like the classic version of windows XP control Panel. Here's how to access the Windows 7 "god mode" menu:
Go to the root of your drive. That's the "C local disk" and not any folder inside of it.
Create a folder with the following name: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and save the folder name, simply and quickly by pressing the enter key or clicking on something else. The icon will then magically change to an icon similar to that of control panel. Double click to enter the GodModeMenu.
Prepare to have your snacks, drinks, and/or drugs of choice on hand because you just might find yourself spending quite of bit of time in the tuning and tweaking of these settings. I've been working on computers for 10 years now, 6 years professionally, and for once, I find the windows accessibility options useful. I hope this helps at least one person out there because that makes this all worth it.
If you are grateful and would like to show your support, kindly help me find an IT job near the 33527 zipcode in USA. I'm looking for something titled junior network administrator, information security analyst, information security engineering, senior desktop support engineer or technician, and things along that nature. Email [email protected] if you would like more information and/or a copy of my resume. Thanks guys; you've been the best friends out there I could have ever hoped for. Talking to the typical folks [doctors] all the time makes you feel quite lonely and incapable sometimes.

The assistance is greatly appreciated. Should anyone require assistance with performing customizations to their windows-based operating systems for improved accessibility, please do not hesitate to post a reply or use the email address I put in the original post. I've been unemployed for 11 months, so spare time is in excess.
For what it's worth, I can't do the usual PC technician mess because of shoulder surgery, but I am fully capable of learning and administering just about any kind of system. It makes me thing about trying to learn programming because I probably could have an obsessive interest in it but not have truly discovered the dopamine feedback induced pleasure of raw coding. Anybody try those Windows 7 godmode setings?

You've been talking to the doctors again, haven't you, Van?
Give it some time - a lot of us don't even have Win7 yet. (My wife and cohusband will be getting a large swack of money back at taxtime, thanks to the first-time-homebuyer credit, so we'll be getting a full suite of new computers, all of them running Win7, and I can try this stuff out then. Meanwhile, as I live a continent away from the ZIP code specified, I'm afraid all I can do is recommend Monster.com...)

The only time I pay for software is when it's used for business purposes. For personal use, experimentation, and learning, I use "unofficial trial versions." I've had to specialize and get familiar with Windows 7 because I've already gotten requests from clients to deal with various 7 messes. One involves a botched upgrade from XP to 7. I installed updated chipset drivers on my laptop last night that came with 7, and it won't even boot in safe mode. Last known good configuration fails, too.
I got so frustrated that I tried to install the AMD64/x86 arch version of netinst Debian linux, but because it doesn't have the drivers for the NIC, I will have to burn a full version and manually install my NIC driver. Maybe I'll dual boot it, mark the linux partition as hidden, and really get some experience
