So I'm taking a graduate course this term in which the professor's expecting us to teach ourselves how to use this program for a lot of the homework assignments (he's said flat-out that he isn't going to help us learn how to use it). Does anyone have experience with it or know of any online resources I could use? I'd much appreciate any help.

I'd suggest asking the TA's (if there are any) and other students who have already taken the class. You could also ask for help from your classmates in there now.

Sorry, I had it mixed up with COMSOMOL, which was a Soviet thing...
