Awfully Strange Topic

Help!! ! My emoticons and styles options have disappeared in posting window!! !! !

I tried to block the red autism reality link beside shop and now I cannot fix it,
CRY CRY

I must have blocked something and now it is a mess.

In my profile HTML is off, smilies and BBCode are ON. I do not have system restore.

Are you using Firefox with AdBlock Plus?

If so:

1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. Choose Add-ons .
3. Double-click Adblock Plus .
4. Click any that say wrongplanet and then hit the delete key on your keyboard. Repeat this step until there aren't any that say wrongplanet .
5. Click Apply .
6. Click OK .

Advice topic

I disabled Adblock plus entirely, but the emoticons and styles bar are still not there.

I could live without the emoticons, but the style bar might be needed because of web links.

The aspie Im a great fan of having trouble topic

How about making a screenshot to show us the problem ? Or can you specify more what you mean with "style bar"

You know you're an aspie if you notice the red text at the top of the page on every page click, and it annoys the he!! out of you! (I sympathize )

Problem is in Post Reply (topic)

I cannot make a screen shot because I cannot import anything. But I can explain

At the left of the white space Message Body there is supposed to be where the emoticons are. There is NOTHING there. And when I click on View More Emoticons, a blank screen pops up. Where it says Tip: Styles can be applied quickly to selected text, there is only a blank space and no bold B, italic I, or Underline function. There is also NO Youtube icon, web function (so I cannot import anything) or in-message quote function.

My HTML is OFF and I cannot turn it on again. I have no idea how to undo all this mess. My ADblock is turned off on WP, but that is no solution either.

I JUST WANT WHAT WAS THERE BEFORE. thank you.

corrupted cache object topic

We all like the topic technique.

You could have an object in cache that is broken preventing a proper load. Can you clear your cache?

I skipped this part and just read it

I know what you did: When you tried to block the red text, you created a site (or global) rule.

To fix it open Adblock (tools > AdBlock preferences), then look in "my user filters", look for something that will say "www.wrongplanet.net font" or something similar, delete it (or uncheck it). Done.

Everything is crap. I suppose I will just have to live with it. I wish I had never tried to disable that red font.

No more styles. No more emoticons. I will miss them.
