Here is my problem,
I've booted into the slackware Ver. 13 dvd-iso and I got into cfdisk. However it said: "Opened disk as read-only - you have no permission to write." Which is very unusual because I am logged in at a root user. I have a feeling it is trying to look at the cd and not the hard drive, so I typed

cfdisk dev/hda
but it still won't detect my hard drive!
