Ok first off I am not a tech savant to say the least...I am a creative aspie, so speak really slow...jk

anyway, I just got a digital camera for christmas. It is a Fujifilm Fine pix S1500. and I have an apple computer
Mac O XS. Well the problem is that when I load my pictures on the computer...it gets saved in documents and I dont want it in documents because I cant retrieve it in many online programs...mainly programs like etsy.com
where I display my pictures of my artwork to sell. Also I can change things around in I photo. It has a" fine pix viewer" but it does me no good cause I cant upload my pictures on the web from that...or can I?

Can someone help me???

Did the OSX come with Iphoto?

I have the probably weirdest route to getting my stuff in because I'm not a Techie, but it works.

Iphoto takes images in. "Import from camera."

Export from Iphoto to a desktop file . ( I do it as a Tiff)

Open desktop file with Photoshop. Manipulate images in Photoshop + save.

Import saved image into printing program/website program. I use Tiff for printing in Shiraz. .jpeg
for export to web.

There is probably a quicker way.

I have Iphoto, but my camera loads to its own program called "Fine Pix Viewer" but then the only option it gives me is to store it in domuments...It never goes to Iphoto which is what I want it to do.

Install "Cameras" from here: http://flexibits.com/
it allows you to choose what program to open when you connect different cameras, iPods, iPhones, etc. Very recommended.

here's also how to disable the Fine Pix viewer: http://www.fujifilm.ca/x2257.xml
