Are you talking about:
"Beyond DSM: Seeking a Brain-Based Classification of Mental Illness" ?
That was interesting. It is neat linking behavior to physical manifestations in the brain. Can't wait until genetics is advanced enough to include genetic processes that cause the brain to be wired in a way that causes particular behaviors (in the whole in the bottom of the sea)....
That is what I love about school, I get to learn about all this stuff.
The very one. I thought it was a pretty clear explanation of the technical basis for changing the DSM from a psychiatry perspective. The new approach seems very research-based and treatment-oriented, which I don't think would be very popular. But the picture of the amygdala was cool.
I thought this edition was especially cool because of the astronomy articles and explanation of Saturn's rings. The articles about turbulent flow and global warming were also really interesting. I think sometimes Science seems to hit on all cylinders and they produce a really interesting edition. Other editions are sometimes hard to even get through.
Anyway, thanks for replying
I was just wondering how many members are into this journal based on the title of this section.
