So, this is really strange. I go pick my iPhone and the screen is stuck, it just won't display the "homepage". No hurts whatsover, it was just on the table. I've tried but nothing, so I went searching the receipt to bring tomorrow to the store and the date of purchase is...28/3/2009. Exactly one year ago. Is this really random ? I know Apple can remotely control iPhones to prevent the use of unauthorized software so, is this freeze really random ?

I've had similar problems with other phones. Some sort of software crash. I just took the battery out and replaced it to reboot the phone and it started working again.

I dont believe it is possible to take the battery out. However, try holding the power and home buttons down at the same time and keep them held. It may show a slider for power off, just keep hold them, dont let go. It should force power off. Wait a few minutes, then power it up - you might have to hold the power button (on the top) for a few seconds. It should go through a full boot (showing the apple).
