Tech idiot here. I've successfully used imgur to post pictures on WP from "my pictures" but I haven't been able to do that to put in a new avatar. I can resize it to avatar size and copy and paste the appropriate code ( I think) but it keeps saying it can't obtain information from the link. Any ideas?

Check the URL after you paste it in the box. I've noticed that some forums have a character limit in the box, which can easily go unnoticed. I had this issue trying to use avatars from thescifiworld.net but I'm not sure if it was this forum.

+1 tech idiot - I haven't even managed to get an image to show up in my post, although the URL goes in and can be clicked. How do you put a picture in your WP post?
