I don't use an office chair, but I sit in a "stress-free" chair at the computer. It's actually lessened my lower back pain a lot. :)

After reading that, I impulsively moved my computer to a higher surface, and am standing as I write this. I might need a break soon. I have been obese, sitting, and sedentary for years. The biggest problems have been SA and depression keeping me from the gym, while doing my obsessions in chairs.

So....thanks!

There's a way out (: I was also in depression but got out of it, and exercise does wonders for the mood, you just need to DECIDE to get out of it.
BTW I've also lost 17 kilos (38 USA pounds) on will alone (:

If you have any questions just PM me (:
Good luck man

I use a 36 inch ball instead of a chair. I have a nice chair, but I only use it when I am tired. My coworkers make fun of me sometimes, but I have plenty of other toys in my office, so I just tell them they are jealous.

It's very comfy. Although I sling a pillow over the top because the headrest is not that great. And it's too low for my desk so I had to get creative to use my mouse comfortably.

I often sit like this by pulling my back off the chair, and am constantly flexing and tensing various muscles due to channeling stim urges into that.

Those chairs are very comfy.

I've considered raising my desk so that I can stand and work. My desk is home made and I built it in such a way that I can extend the legs easily. The legs are actually four inch black ABS pipe.

$20 to $45 depending on quality. Visit a sporting goods store and look in the yoga/palates stuff.

Ah, that explains why I have never seen them in office supply places. Thanks.
