I personally like C, Java (a bit), and Lisp, and have used C++ and use Bash Shell Scripting regularly. Common Lisp is a little messy, but it is really neat.

I love using C++ for anything. Sometimes I use x86 assembly for really low-level optimizations and I occasionally use Visual Basic to code frontends to my C++ CLI apps.

Java is what I know best though I still need to learn C++ if only for when the Doom III Engine becomes open-source.

Pascal/Object Pascal for me. I even use the preprocessor in C to keep the code I have to downgrade to C looking as much like Pascal as possible.

My favourate language has to be VISUAL BASIC. If you haven't used it, you must give it a try.
