Well, you actually need more than 5 posts before you can post links. Make yourself a part of the community: find the welcome post(I think its in members only) and introduce yourself. You can mention your site there as well.

In the mean time, why dont you tell us a bit more about your site?

I read the wrongplanet forums occasionally, but don't post (till now).

I wanted to tell you about a science/tech wiki I run.

I created it because I wanted a place for information focused how-to do things in science/technology and related subjects. For example, tutorials on how to program in C++, or how to solder.

I am really excited about the website, I think it could become a really great resource. And I thought some of the other science nerds here might find it interesting :D

I'm not sure if I am allowed to link it, would that be considered advertising?

You might want to introduce yourself in the "Getting to Know Each Other" sub-forum. As for your website simply add it to your profile in the profile editor.

And by the way.....
