adding a picture to a post

I really would like to know how to do this. Can someone help me since I just can't figure how to do it? Also is the procedure always the same for any website?

Asking this question makes me feel as though I am rather daft. But I think it is better to appear stupid rather than not have a solution to the question.

When you have a picture in front of you that you want to use, right click your mouse button and select "Copy image location". This will put a link to the image on your clipboard.

Now when creating a message click the landscape button (like a red sun over a blue hill). It will prompt you to enter the image url. Right mouse click and paste your link in and click OK. Job done.

Thanks for replying. I now understand how to upload a picture to this website. What I am really trying to do is add a picture to a message that I want to post on another website, the Sims 3.

//static2.modcloth.com/productshots/0057/7277/23209-1_category.jpg That's what appears after clicking on "Img". From the wording of this I think the picture will appear. But I just am not sure. If that's true why does it show on the message in that form, and show the actual picture. Could you explain this to me?

If you look at my link which works, I have change your 'i' tags to 'img' tags. Your link was also missing the 'http:' bit at the beginning.
