This is the 1997 book about the Australian hacking underground in the late 80's and early 90's which included Julian Assange, aka Mendax. Julian Assange was a major contributor to the book. Interesting read. Brought back some vivid memories for me from those days (I wasn't a hacker, just a very intrigued friend/observer of a few--I also know one of the computer programmers at NASA who was there when the w*k hack happened). There's stuff in there about Mendax that totally triggered my PTSD and haven't slept for two days, so if you have PTSD related to authoritarian types invading your home or personal space and robbing you of your personal liberty, be warned.
