Who do you think you are? Microsoft?

I'm not opposed to them demanding a slice of the pie(though its a pretty big slice), but disallowing developers to raise the prices? Ever, I presume? Whats going to happen as costs go up is that developers are just going to start dropping iOS support. Then iOS is going become unattractive to the buying public.

She slightly misinterpreted Apple's position there.

They want the App developers to offer the app subscription through itunes/app store at the same price they offer it on their own stand-alone service.

So yes, if the people buy it through the app store apple gets 30%.. if stand alone they get nothing.

Its a dirty move by apple as they know users will care less since they pay the same .. just that apple will take a piece of that pie.

All that will do is make the app companies either abandon support for apple systems or make 'lite' subscription access for apple products.
