I've dabbled in the memory palace/silly visuals methods of increasing memory capacity but in the long run found it too tedious to be worth it. I am convinced it works every bit as well as he says it does if you commit to it. But since it's so much easier to just write things down or type them into a memory card, that's what I'll stick with.
