Hi. I went my way and brought a pack of 10 blank DVD-R disks from WalMart yesterday and went to burn my content and ISO of my slipstreamed SP2 folder on my disk for Windows XP Pro. When I tried booting up using the CD (I did this in VirtualBox too), I get the "CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR" error. I am currently running Ubuntu Linux 10.10, after I dumped pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am trying to install XP Pro until a recovery disk arrives, which may or may not have been ordered by my parents.
Here are my facts:
1) Dell Inspiron 1545 model
2) Processor: Intel(R) Pentium Dual-core T4500
3) RAM: 2GB DDR memory
4) Mobile Intel(R) 5 Series Express Chipset
5) 512MB Intel Integrated Graphics X4500HD Video card
6) 500GB Hard drive, at 5400RPM
7) Tray Load DVD+/-RW
0.3 webcam/microphone
Can you please help?
