The people I admire more are of the hacker/engineer type, like Eric S Raymond.

Why a CEO? CEO's usually don't do a lot of work, the work they actually do is easy work, and they get paid too much for it.

They probably relish the rare chance to just code. What they are in life would demand a great deal of their attention.
