Firefox Error Console Popping Up Upon Starting

Not sure when it started happening, but it hasn't always.

When I start Firefox, it pops up,
and also any page that opens in a new window as opposed to a new tab. (So annoying.)

I've tried starting it in Safe Mode, which did NOT produce the error console,
so I think it might be an add-on.

The question: how do I go about enabling the add-ons one at a time so that I might figure out the one in question and disable it?
The window that comes up before I open it in Safe Mode just has "Disable Add-ons", and I didn't see an option within Safe Mode to enable them individually.

Start Firefox in normal mode, ignore the error console, and go to Tools--Add-ons to disable them one at a time and find the culprit.

Do you mean the thread? There's no need, it will just sink off the front page eventually. If you mean the add-on, there should be an "uninstall" option somewhere.
