I am on Windows XP. When I go into the My Pictures folder, I can't see any image thumbnails. All I get are the generic icons. And yes, Explorer is set to display Thumbnails. Also I do not get an image preview when I am in Filmstrip mode.

Any help?

I also had that problem, I'll check what I did to fix it.

Meanwhile try a freeware viewer like Irfanview or Xnview

In my pictures folder right click on the folder goto customize check for what type you told windows to do for that folder if not set to pictures or photo album that could be why no thumbnails.
