Hey people. I'm asking you what is a Pandora Console. Here is a picture of it:

It's a handheld computer in a clamshell design (similar to a DS) that uses a custom Linux distro specifically made for it. It is a compele computer and OS, and you can either use a custom UI, or KDE/Gnome. As you can see in the picture, it has a full keyboard, along with 2 analog sticks/pads, since it is desinged partly to be a portable all-in-one emulator.
I've been following it for years, and am happy that it's finally released, after many delays. I remember wanting one back in 8th grade, about 4 years ago. 
I still want one, but at $500 you can get a much better-spec laptop, so it's hard to justify the purchase.

As much as you think it is? I don't know, if it sounds like it's worth $500, then that's what you're going to have to pay for it.

Well, if you've ever wanted to program games for a handheld, or want to play N64, PS1, GBA, DOS (and so on) games on a handheld, then it's very worth it. Or, for example, you can use it as a laptop that can fit in your pocket (and it has a much longer battery life than laptops I might add). Research it some, and decide if it's worth it. Being a self-professed "tecno geek", you should know what it is and what you can do with it.
