Hey.
I installed Kubuntu ontop of my Windows 7 install. (Yes, yes, I know stupid mistake)
When I got to the part where you choose where to install the boot loader, I clicked the Windows install as thats where the current Windows bootloader is.
Grub is not showing up on boot and I can only boot into windows as if I never installed it.
Please help.
How do I install grub and only gurb? Or will I have to reinstall it on my super slow DVD drive?

Boot from the Live CD, make sure that both partitions (the boot partition and the Kubuntu partition) have been mounted and then configure Grub according to whatever situation matches from https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Recov ... ingWindows

That approach can cause problems. Best to boot the installed OS with the supergrub boot disc. Then reinstall grub via apt. You will be prompted on drive/partition choice during the installation process.
