Well since the user database on Android is growing makes me think that it actually has the potential to one day move to pc's in a large amount and that would make some more companies make more programs for it, when that happens then gaming industry would begin to make real game-games not small game apps for Android.
And voila we now have games for Linux
Toshiba is already experimenting with it
Actually quake has already been ported to Android, though it sucks with a touchscreen. I don't think Android will really conquer the x86 market though. It's just not what the OS is intended to do. Maybe Chrome-os will.
