I had no clue this was around for MAC!
If I install it, can I still use the normal OSX interface, and when I want to use the KDE interface I can just switch?
Can I uninstall it aswel?
Will it work on OSX Lion when I go to upgrade?

Reason I ask is:
I bought an iMac Mid 2011 Yesterday (Thanks parents :D ) but they only had the ones with OSX Snow Leopard. So the store assistent who served me said I could wait til today to collect my mac with Lion, or I could take away the mac here and then (Which is what I did) and send my Mac in for them to install Lion for me (I can do it my self, but my broadband is rubbish right now).
Reason I want KDE on my Mac is:
Just because.
So I can use Kate.

It does not work well. At all. Significant parts of KDE will be completely nonfunctional, and you will not be able to access your normal OS X applications (Safari, Mail, etc) from within KDE.

Yes, you can still use the normal OS X interface. It's just a matter of switching off the horrible X11 implementation that will be running on top of OSX's GUI. Uninstalling is relatively simple. It should be in the same state on Lion as it is on Snow Leopard.
If you want KDE on your Mac, install Linux.

And plus, Apple's GUI is the best in the business. Feel free to disagree though.

Yes, your right.
I like both though.
I might just install Kubuntu on my mac then.
But what if it overwrites the bootloader?

It won't. Use rEFIt and Linux will play nice with OS X. That's the set-up that I had for a couple years.

I have bought a new Mac recently.
I before this new mac only had a Macbook (my only intel mac) I did not want to risk anything or put it out of action.
But now I have my new iMac i thought I would give your suggestion a shot.
I LOVE REEFIT.
But, I have burnt a linux DVD (Tried it on another computer and it worked fine), inserted it into my mac before reboot.
Then I reboot, and Reefit does not recognize the disk (it does not show up).
Why is this?
I really want to use linux on my mac, but my disk just wont show up in ReeFIt.

Strange... there was a brief period when Linux disks with the new Grub 2 bootloader would not be recognized by rEFIt, but they fixed that. If it is an Ubuntu-based distro, I remember a couple releases ago (I think it was 10.04, or maybe 10.10) something was changed that made Ubuntu unbootable on Macs. There was an alternate iso released somewhere, but it was not made general knowledge and I'm not sure if I could even find it now. I would have expected them to fix that by now, though.

UPDATE:
I can (before ReeFIt shows up) hold alt and it shows the original boot menu, I can boot into the DVD from there (It says its a Windows disk) would ReeFIt recognize it and boot from it once installed?

I would expect it to. I know rEFIt can recognize grub2 now, so once it's installed it should work.
Be sure to check the mac-specific documentation on the Ubuntu wiki- they have recommendations for bootloader installation to make sure it goes smoothly.
