Published in the journal Advanced Materials, the study involved the first ever demonstration of simultaneous information processing and storage using phase-change materials. This new technique could revolutionize computing by making computers faster and more energy-efficient, as well as making them more closely resemble biological systems.

i look forward to seeing what this technology can do for the field of robotics, most of which suffer from proccesing lag when navigating a complex enviroment.

Pop stars and reality stars better watch out in the future because most of them will probably be replaced by this technology. Even the more insane and bizarre acts aren't safe, because if you take a regular 'brain' chipset, piss on it and zap it with a stun gun, you would now have CPUs to make cyborg replacements for Lady Gaga and the cast of Jersey Shore!
