Can someone maybe help me with this problem... recently, on Opera Mini 10, I, seemingly randomly, now and again (like at this very moment), get this error when trying to access my Gmail account, or the Gmail main page:

Quote:
XML parsing failed: syntax error

Reparse document as HTML

Is it just Google that are having problems, again, except now with mobile browsers, or is there maybe something I could do? I'd prefer not reinstalling the browser unless I know it'd make a difference, as I'll lose my bookmarks, then, if I do not write them all down.

This is starting to get very frustrating, so thanks in advance for any help.

Opera is not reading Google's files properly, im not exacly sure how I can fix this problem as it is probably server side.
Meaning, you need to use another browser.
Why?:
If Opera is out dated, it (im assuming) will have an outdated XML parser, meaning, it would not be able to read Googles files properly.
Its probably a problem with Googles side of things.
Some sites dont work with some browsers.

Opera mini can use server side compression (opera turbo) you should be able to turn this off (you can in opera mob 10). Might help?

I had it turned off, already... tried to turn the turbo on, though, instead, which made no difference. Also, Gmail works in Opera Mini, instead, but there are several flaws in Opera Mini that make me prefer Opera Mobile, generally.

Gmail is the only site, so far, that does this... how crappy. :/

Crap, looks like you'll have to wait for Google unless you can use a gmail app or don't mind using the html version.

Opera mobile (mini seems to be unaffected) has a serious bug in the DOM can result in AJAX posts completely omitting form fields (which completely breaks a lot of websites). Not sure if that is your problem or not, but is there something like a basic HTML option on gmail that you can try?

I don't mind using the HTML version; I always have, until now (since I can't use it at all, now); it always defaults to the advanced mode, now, I guess, instead of the HTML version, even if I use a saved web address I have, specifically for the HTML version.

I already have the Gmail app installed. It's outrageously bad - it lacks so many functions and even removes part of the e-mail, at times, if it's written the same way as the previous one, in a conversation - it interprets it as a previous, quoted e-mail and just removes it from view, without even a notice that it in fact is there. It really is a horrid app. =_=;

Is there any other, good web browser that I could use for Symbian S60 3rd Edition? Not Opera Mini - Opera Mini has an annoying character limit (at least on my mobile). Alternatively, is there a better e-mail service, out there? Actually, I have been thinking about changing, anyway, after hearing some negative stuff about Google. Is Inbox.com good? Especially privacy-wise. It seems to work on both Opera Mini and Opera Mobile, at least...

Anyway, thanks for trying to help, at least... I appreciate that, as well.
