For some reason WP won't allow me to post more than five thumb-nailed images in one post....
This is from the same computer as the screenshots above.

The Palast der Republik, one of the funkiest pieces of Communist architecture ever, with lots of Trabants parked up outside, combined with the standard Ubuntu theme... I'm thinking of changing the theme though.

Gah!! I can't get screenshots that I upload to image hosting sites to show up in my post previews!! I enter the provided url in the 'attach photo' box, but when I preview my post, it just shows the link inside some html code. Is there some sort of image attaching secret I don't know about on this site?

The GkrellM theme has been uploaded here for those who are interested.

Because if the image is too big the WP forum software will rescale it for you - usually with unfortunate results. This is done so that the forum display formatting isn't thrown all over the place by a large picture.
You'll see underneath the image it says Picture resized - and at 1024x819 yours is too big.

Best if it's resized before linking to a post here - say, 800x600.
It's possible to resize your image in Photobucket without breaking any links to it: the edited version replaces the original.

That is why I always thumbnail my images...
I haven't seen a 3D desktop in quite a while.

Oh well, I'm not gonna bother resizing it. You guys get the idea what it looks like, doesn't take much imagination to picture it not so tall :D

Yeah with 11.XX Ubuntu, the 3d cube desktops are kind of a thing of the past, but I like it, I'm not updating because Unity is fugly.
