I wanted to tell you about the Open Source Ecology project. They are trying to produce a GVCS (global village contruction set) involving 50 open source machines which can be used to create communities anywhere in the world using only a few raw materials. I've been supporting them for about 6 months and thought there must be other Aspies out there who are interested in open source just as I am. They are looking for people to become "True Fans" at the moment. A True Fan is someone who is able to give $10 a month to help fund them and get them off the ground. It's a great project to help Open Source to develop in the real world and outside of software. Here are some links if you think it sounds interesting:
