Energy can be cheap but never free. Even if these wonderful solar converters work in a cost effective manner they still have to manufactured, installed and maintained. Nothing is free.

Has cow tipping gotten so boring that we have to go tipping over some poor guy named Justin Hall? He's probably done nothing to deserve it.

Well sure Ruveyn. There's always a cost in manufacturing, installation, maintenance, labor, materials, research. BUT, and this is a big BUT, as infrastructure is put in, the cost is reduced further and further. Take telecommunications for example. 40 years ago it was very expensive just to make a call, but today since all the hardware is in place, it literally costs next to nothing to place a call.

Mr. Hall-Tipping's concepts and materials I think will have the same effect. He's reduced and eliminated much of the infrastructure issues, as well as labor and maintenance of the current power grid.

When your investment pays for itself, it becomes in essence free. And I can honestly say with no reserve whatsoever, our SUN cares not one wit about the power it freely gives to us. Why would we continue to ignore it if the technology is available to harness it effectively and cheaply? That's why Justin is working on this AND he went about it the right way I think.

That would be awesome. Didn't see any links for pricing or dealers so it must still be in development?

He has contacted the scientists and engineers who could make it happen. Justin Hall may turn out to be a worthy catalyst. Or maybe not.
