An alternate take on invisibility. Instead of transfering light around this is about deliberately slowing photons. Looks like it could have data applications as well:

This is a fascinating development and it is very exciting that researchers have found a way, albeit a clunky one, to extend the physical dimensions of the invisibility technology developed in 2010. This certainly seems to be a reasonable proof of concept.

I look forward to further publications from this group.

That is such cool technology!! I have had an invisibility cloak for 47 years-called Aspergers-though the cloak malfunctions when others want something from me.

Hmm....I turn invisible when there's no one around to see me. I can just 'feel' it. :lol:
