Hey!
Well, I'm back again, with another Grub problem on my Sony Vaio NW11S. So this is how my partition table goes:
sda1: Windows 7
sda2:Kubuntu Natty (I used to hate 11.10, but now I love it)
sda3:OSX Install (Even the GPU might work after a bit of tinkering!!)
After I installed Kubuntu, it rebooted and booted into Linux fine (I was somewhere else at the time it rebooted from the install disk) but now, for some reason I cannot boot into Kubuntu or Windows 8.
Please help!
Now you'l probably say, why are you using Windows 8 when you can use Windows 7 which works with grub just fine?
Well, my brother has a Gaming PC that needed a 64 bit copy of Seven, so yeah, I gave him my license. At this point im like: "Ok, brother is happy. But what about me? What am I going to use......." Then I thought of Windows 8, so I got my self a beta from Microsoft and installed it. Free Windows until it comes out again! Yay!
So yeah.
The reason I gave my brother my copy of Seven is because:
He uses Windows way more then I do (I use it to game if I ever get chance, even then its nothing big... Only Minecraft, so I gave him my copy) he needed a copy and I gave him one, this is what I always do with Windows, if any one else in the family needs a copy of Windows variable, I give it them if there is a pre release version of Windows out. It works well, I dont mind working around the bugs.
Thanks!
