Does anyone know how to make the color on the monitor black and white?

I'm not to sure how to make it black & white, but you could make it darker by bringing the brightness/contrast right down. you probable already know that.

Go to an electronic repair shop (not Radio-Shack nor Future Shop) and ask them to modify a DB-15 extension to only get black and white or if you know electronic you can get the pinout
of a DB-15 wire on the net.

This probably doesn't apply since I've a Mac & most people have PC's, but-there's a preference one can set in "Universal Access" called black on white & it reverses the color. Text is white on black background, and colors are inverted from normal. Guess it wouldn't make you less dizzy, though. Dunno' much about these sort of things, but seems like there ought to be some way (without taking the hardware apart) to fiddle with something in viewing options menus, to reduce colors to grayer shades.
