Unable to use an USB floppy drive in VirtualBox

Hey I'm Unable to use an USB floppy drive in VirtualBox. VirtualBox does not see the drive in Windows 7 the drive was installed the right way. I'm trying to install OS/2 Warp 3 I need to boot from the floppys to use the cd to install.

You need to make a disk image of the floppy and boot from that. Virtualbox doesn't support USB booting.

You need to enable guest access or USB passthrough (e.g. http://www.howtoforge.com/virtualbox-2- ... -8.10-host). The USB device must be correctly installed in the host operating system in the first place - this should be automatic for a floppy drive. If your drive is not recognized by a Windows host, then you can try deleting the entry from your device list in the Windows control panel, then unplugging it and plugging it back in.
