I need some advice. I need to replace two 75 volt 10,000uf capacitors in my JVC stereo system that are shot and leaking all over the circuit board.

Does anybody know a good place where I can pick up some replacements?

Go to www.mouser.com . No minimum order, can order by debit card, very good company.

My guess is that those are the filter capacitors for a power supply fed by a transformer and a bridge rectifier. If so, better check the rectifier. If they are in the audio output then they were probably fed too much power and can simply be replaced.

There in the power supply, in the past year I've been getting progressively more power supply noise in the audio output. I opened it up last week and saw them leaking out. The system is 15 years old so I don't think the rectifier is bad or anything like that, just that the caps are shot.

That sounds about right.
