Building my own Armel powered board?
Hey!
I would love to get into circuitry so I could build my own Armel powered board out of a breadboard or something like that.
Any of you know any good links for tutorials and advice?
I have no soldering experiance, but that sholudnt be an issue as my Grandfather (who I get on with really well along with my Grandmother) is really really good at DIY and is used to soldering so he could probably teach me.
Do you think I am being overambitious?
I already have a Raspberry Pi to experiment with circuitry wise... Do you think i should start my circuitry with that?
Thanks!

I got started with arduino a couple of months ago, but I'm also taking some general electronics lessons in complement to that. For arduino, there's some good books out there for beginners, and for the general stuff, I think googling around will get you what you need.
MIT opencourseware stuff could help you, check it out:

Don't know much about Raspberry Pi though, but I'm only a beginner myself. I don't think your project is too ambitious, it just may take a lot of time to get the understanding and knowledge needed.

Awww, I want a raspi badly, but I can't get it until other expenses are taken care of.
NO YOUR PROJECT ISN'T TOO AMBITIOUS!! ! DO YOU THINK YOUR A TODDLER??? YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!! !
Circuitry is somewhat easy, but cool to see what you can do with things. Plus it's kind of like a brain game!! !! ! But I like it just because I like to see the results of my work... work. It feels amazing.
