Tablets or Phones
I need help deciding which one Im going to get. I have 2 phones, and a tablet. One of them is a TracPhone, the other is a Kroger. I dont pay for the Tracphone anymore, but its fallen apart so many times its not funny. The tracphone isnt capable of calling people anymore. Their is no warranty on it either. The other phone(Sanyo Iwireless) is pay for monthly. The thing is though people arent able to receive my texts alot. Infact most of the time they never get my texts, same with my calls, and when I call someone/leave a message, no-one can hear/understand me. Infact most of the time I cant even hear the ringer on the phone.
Ive talked to many phone experts about this, and they say I have set the phone up right, and their isnt anything I can do about it, Ive turned in the phone to be worked on and nothing happened.
The tablet I have doesn't do much either, it has issues with charging/loading anything. Often at times it wont hook up to the internet, even though weve set everything up right, and it doesnt have a good memory card. Its Android based, and wont download any applications(even with the wireless working). The headphone jac, doesnt work, and I was going to use this for school. The company I got it from wont accept it back.
So with that being said, does anyone have any suggestions for getting a new or used cellphone/tablet? Preferably one that is ereader capable and will store alot of schoolbooks on it. I would also like to be able to listen to music, surf the web, text/call people, and take pictures/record things, and play games. I have a preference price range of less then $200. I dont know much about tablets or phones either,so any help/advice would be great.
Thanks for reading this. Sorry its so long.

Try a differnet phone/provider and you might have better results. Many tablets out there currently (< $200) have quite nice features which can include smooth internet browsing, video calls, VoIP and vast amounts of storage capability. The Google Nexus 7 tablet is very good for the price and development for it is huge and will continue to be so you can expect many updates.

Ok update I now have a Kindle Touch Wifi 6 inch display on the way. I was told that Ebooks are cheaper then textbooks? Do Kindle Touches come with instruction manuals, and support things outside of Amazon? (Would Amazon support school textbooks?)
As for a phone, well Ive looked at the iwireless website and logged in, and it doesnt look like I can change/ cancel fees(subscription). Why? Do I have to talk to the company about it? How do I get a phone that doesnt require a plan/monthly fee?
As for the other tablet, well I found out it was the charger thing, got a new one(very cheap) and its working, it doesnt read any books though it surfs the web, plays games, audio files etc. Would anyone please tell me what this "MicroSD Card Adapter" goes too, that came with it? Its too big to fit in the Tablet.
