Blogs? They're sort of an online journal, soapbox, or diary, a place to broadcast what's been on your mind lately.

Here is mine, you can take a look and get a feel for what one is, there are many other aspie blogs listed here (sidebar to the left). http://cobaltmoon.blogspot.com

You can get one free from blogger.com, or they are also hosted here on wrongplanet.

My sister adores blogging. I think it's OK, but I don't see why it's such a huge deal

A blog is fun to have, and it is a creative release, but you've gotta be careful what you put on it and who sees it - the internet is like that, y'know.

BTW, Blogger is a good starting point if you're interested in getting a blog going. I use them for mine.

Think of it as an online journal. Different sites have it work different ways. In its simplest form, anyone and everyone can read it. So if something is traceable to *you*, be careful what you say.

I have heard of prospective employers doing a websearch on applicants names and seeing just what turned up.

I try not to post too much in the way of identifying information for that reason. Still, PM me if you want to see my blog.
