Without knowing exactly where the item was found (if it was actually found and not manufactured by the 'finders'), the 'finders' claims can not be verified; and without verification, the claims of the 'finders' are suspicious, at best. At worst, this is an outright hoax - keep in mind that the Greek government is in a severe financial bind, and even researchers might be desperate for money.
By the way, did anyone else notice that date when this alleged 'find' was announced?
