RC Plane modeling
I'm considering to buy RC plane model, but I'm afraid I'm a little too old for that, because i'm 28 years old, and i might been look like to childish.
But i very like planes thous never before been dealing with plane modeling.
Last quite accidentally walked into the store with models RC plane, and I noticed that they are not as expensive as I thought. I thought that he can buy instead of another computer game.
My mom really liked it because she thinks that I spend at the computer far too much time. I play mainly in BF3, SimCity, and of course KSP
I can not afford to earn the a pilot's license, let alone to buy a real aircraft, and besides I'm afraid I would have trouble moving on aero-medical examinations.
In Poland to get pilot license for small planes you need (Świadectwo lotniczo-lekarskie Klasy 2) Areo-medical certification Class 2
I would like to know which RC Model is easier to learn Helicopter or Plane.
I think about buying replica of Fokker Dr.I Red Baron plane it cost 250 Polish Zloty (75 US Dollar)
The planes may be pretty cheap, but the radio gear, servos, batteries and chargers cost a fair bit. Luckily you can use one set of radio gear with several planes (and if you start off with a 6 channel radio, you can use it on helicopters too).
Until you've learned to fly, or more importantly land, it's best to stick with a plane that's cheap, disposable, and easily repaired, otherwise you stand a good chance of crashing and destroying a quality model.
I'd recommend starting with a glider like the Zagi, because they're so cheap it doesn't matter how badly you crash them, and they're pretty easy to repair too. Gliders have the benefit of not needing fuel or batteries that can limit your flying time, and the lack of a motor or engine means they're cheaper too, but you do need to fly from the top of a hill on a windy day to get lift. Once you've worked out landing there are more advanced gliders like those use for combat slope soaring, which are insane fun to fly, and the Alula, which is so light weight it can find lift almost anywhere, and you can launch the thing in a park by just throwing it into the air.
Powered planes are best left till you've really got landing down, or you're in a club so someone else can help you land until you learned, as having the motor at the front can make crashes expensive.
Helicopters are best left until you've mastered planes, because the number of controls makes them a lot more complex to fly, even with the help they get from a gyro, and they're rather delicate, due to how many small moving parts there are, and how they have to be tuned to keep vibration down and controls neutral.

Usually the medical exams for private pilot license is pretty lenient even on disabilities. Its when you want commercial privileges that they can get picky.
For rc, most people think its childish until they see it is no toystore special. I've flown them for years and always gets a crowd. They are however hard to fly. There's two types of people in rc planes. Builders and flyers. Builders have the dedication and eye to fabricate planes and paint them nicely and just make works of art, but can't fly worth crap. Flyers have great skills on controls but can't be bothered to make theirs pretty. Its rare to find one who does both
