So, at the beginning of the year, Thunderf00t announced a competition to determine the best candidates for new Youtube science channels and the winner would receive 1000$ for a prize. In order to enter, one had to produce two good science videos for Youtube by the 1st of April. I personally would of liked to of entered but I didn't make it in time. In fact, I still don't know how to the animations that I would need to make such a video. Anyway, some of the winners already had their own channels going but were not well known before he announced the winners on 26 May. Thunderf00t also mentioned some other contested who, although weren't winners, nonetheless still produced good videos:

I would recommend people to check out the channels mentioned, they are quite interesting.

If you want a giggle look up some of the t.v. spoofs of Brian Cox. Type in "Brian Cox Spoofs" on Google.
