Need help with a Windows 7 32-bit driver:-

Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter Windows 7 32-bit Driver

Has anyone/Does anyone have and/or know of one which works?

For a Dell GX260 if it makes a difference.

Reply to topic if you need any more details.

Thank you!

Have you gone to Dell website, found your computer model and looked into driver section?

On second thought, your computer model is irrelevant because it's a USB card that you obtained separately.

Unfortunately you will get no help on this topic until you find out the card chipset manufacturer (at the very least) and model number (desired). The name you gave is extremely generic.

Example of a proper identification: Ralink 2860.

Yeah Dell is irrelevant but I've looked a bit more into it with your suggestion and come back with:

Integrated System Solution Corp.
ISSC Wireless Utility
W89C35 802.11bg WLAN USB Adapter

ID seems to be: ISSC W89C35

Also AX88772ALF, AX88772BLF, RD9700

WinXP seems to use W35und.sys driver but still having trouble finding any drivers for Windows 7 32-bit

Do you think thats enough chipset info to find one?

Yeah at this point all you can do is web search for W89C35 windows 7 wireless driver. This is going to be hard, looks like your card is unsupported/obscure.

These days you can buy a much better wireless adapter for dirt cheap. I would suggest something by Rosewill, they have a good reputation with USB cards.

Of course if you want solid reliability you should just use a PCI card (internal) instead.

OK fair enough I'll have a search for W89C35 windows 7 wireless driver but I won't hold my breath, I might get lucky and find a Vista 32-bit driver which might work. That Rosewill one looks good might have to bin the ISSC one and invest in a new one.

Thanks for your help dude. =]
