Hello all, I was wondering if a laptop can hook up to a projector? Would I need any extra cords? Also would I be able to hook up game systems to said projectors and record? I dont have a TV in my room.

Yea, make sure the laptop has a VGA connector (most of em have one). As for game systems... don't know much about em, but again if it has a VGA connector then yea.

Resp. an HDMI connector (whatever the projector has). You obviously need a cable to connect the laptop and the projector.

I haven't heard about many people playing games on a projector. I don't know any specific reason why it wouldn't work, though. Make sure the projector supports the screen resolution at which you want to play.

A projector is connected like an external monitor.

Most gamers don't use them because of the input speed to the output which is a projector

but if it's just for casual games then all you need to do is find out what output your PC/laptop supports,

Usually like a monitor as the post above me say's.
