Fake V8 rev sound function needd

I am creating an programe that can make a regular car sound like a v8 though the car speakers( or other added speakers)
Unlike a few Iphone apps where the sound changes as the car goes faster, my programm will respond to revs, as well as speed. Eventually it will respond to gear changes and engine torque. However, I need V8 rev sound function to get started in the project. Preferably in python but any language will do.
