I think my graphics card is going on my Dell XPS, the screen keeps going a green shade, I dont think its the monitor as I use another computer with it and its fine for that one.

So whats the best graphics card I should get?

What are the specs of your system? Like how much RAM do you have, and what are you running for a CPU?

Its a Dell XPS 8300 with 16gb ram, 64 bit Intel i7 2600 3.40ghz
Ge Force GTX 560 ti graphics card
460 watt power supply though Ive run cards on previous Dells that needed more than the standard Dell power supply with no problem.

Iam thinking CLICK LINK looks good.or even better, 3gb TI version CLICK LINK

Both of those cards look pretty nice, though I know there are higher-end cards out there like the Geforce 7xx series. What are you planning on playing?

Skyrim of course!, though heavily modded, it runs ok at the moment but sometimes crashes when there are lots of people all fighting at once.

I just fixed my green issue by the way, must have been a poor connection in my 3 computer junction box, whats weird though, I disconnected the lead from my graphics card, lost image, but when I disconnected the other end of the same lead from the junction box, the image still stayed on my monitor, even when I clicked on something to change what was on the screen!

Thing with the Dell is, theres not a lot of room, the power unit is only 460 watts, and some cards have issues with the BIOS which Dell are no longer supporting, the above cards use the same power as my existing card and dont appear to have any issues with the bios.

I take it you're still using a VGA cable for your monitor connection? If at all possible, I recommend switching to DVI or HDMI, as you won't have to worry about specific colors disconnecting if you don't have the cable plugged in the right way.
