what is the best way to get unbiased results from a web sear

It matters how you place the words in your query? Are question marks necessary or do they retun biased results? How about quotation marks on specific words or phrases? Does the search engine or browser make that much difference. I have always been happy with IE. For no more than I do online it seems fine for me. I guess I am just conditioned to IE because I really dislike the way Chrome and Firefox look on my screen. Way too much going on for me. I know there are more browsers but the only other one I have ever tried is Safari. Still partial to IE.

I don't do programming and don't play computer games. I only do things like WP, FB, CL and take classes. oh, and blog sites.

Like many things, what you get out of a search depends on what, and how, you put into it. The browser is not relevant - it's all about the site you choose to use to perform the search.
Taking Google as an example (the others probably have similar methods available) -
