I just got this tablet as my laptop crashed into oblivion and this was cheap. It is great for surfing the net but the keyboard takes getting used to.
Wondering if its safe to do online banking on? This is the first tablet I've had and it's more different than I thought it would be . Thanks : )

I'm assuming this tablet runs Android.

As for online banking, check to see if your bank has an app for Android. If it does, use it instead of visiting the bank's web page.

Yes, it does use android. Well, I went onto my bank site and nothing seems to have gone too wrong. So thats good. It certainly is easy to carry around.

Well, the bank app is good, but for some things I have to go to the site. So I've downloaded a free virus protection app.
I cant get used to the touchscreen keyboard though. It's too small. So I want to get a blue tooth enabled keyboard to hook up with it. Not sure if this defeats the purpose or not though.

I think Samsung makes a keyboard that is like a dock for the GT. ...That is, when the tablet is plugged into the keyboard you can put the whole unit on your lap, like a laptop.

I picked up a Nexus 7 at Xmas for $160; couldn't pass up that pprice I've been surprised at how much of a relief the larger screen and speakers are compared to my old iPodT.

Well, I looked into the dock situation and I ordered the Cooper Case Bluetooth enabled keyboard. It wasnt too expensive so why not. I discovered that my tablet works with kindle too which is great!
