I think this goes in here..

Ok, so i'm not sure where to begin. Well.. for a while iv'e wanted to make a Pixel art/Dollsite (those catogries can be looked up easy on google ) iv'e tried everything I can to get where I want to be. Iv'e joined loads of pixel art forums but I end up being ignored and just rudely replied to. So I wanted to ask you guys cause your all nice and not rude!

I have been trying to advertise for people to help me with my site..but I havent found anyone interested. My website was going to be a pixel art community containing graphics and other nice stuff. I already own 2 forums 1 forum I also am struggling with. Which was supposed to be for my website but people dont seem to be interested in that much either. I just need advise and help cause this big thing seems hard on my own.

Some people have told me to just give in and forget it. But I wont give in after all my
hard work making forums banners and layouts.

I know these sites are kinda strange Lol
but it's an exsample I guess.

I might be able to help you out here... just need a better idea of what you're expecting from us. What exactly do you need help with? Creating the site? Advertising?

If it's creation you need help with, I have some experience with administrating websites. Lately I've been working on my personal site. I'm using the Joomla! content management system. Highly configurable, highly extensible. You can basically make it look like and do whatever you want, and it's free. (http://www.joomla.org)

I might need help creating the site, iv'e been struggling with that recently. I have loads of idea's but it's just the html and coding I struggle with. Pixel shading has been a lil hard for me..haha but i'm trying I was just thinking if having a banner at the top of this website page would look right. I do know a lot of people do that now, but it's good to be different aswell. I'm not bossy and arent that strong on my views. I think i'm blabbing now lol! But yes thanks for replying to my post.

if you are struggling w/ HTML, there is software available that lets u do ti mroe visually. like dragging stuff onto the screen then saving it. Look up Dreamweaver, used this in school, but i ended up manually editing the html pages cuz my site was a lil more complex

If you're looking to make a community site where people can submit their own images and maybe have their own pages and such you're going to need more than just HTML. One of the better options for that would be a database-driven system such as Joomla. It's pretty easy to use, you just need a web server with support for PHP and MySQL. I use FutureQuest ( http://www.futurequest.net ) for my hosting, and they support everything I've ever needed them to. I think their hosting packages start at around $10 a month.
