I hate it too! Tablet too -- I don't like touchscreen keyboards. If I check out message boards from my tablet and want to make a long post in reply, I wait until I get on my laptop with a "real" keyboard to type on. I also enjoy physical typing on physical keys.

I hate browsing this site on my iPod when people post too many pics/vids in some threads.

Feel better soon, pawelk1986!

Just got back from the hospital, actually not quite got back, I came back just for the weekend, I still go back to the hospital for two days of tests. yet been tested on a drug called Merkaina (marcaine_, it turned out that I was not allergic to him on Monday and Tuesday I will be tested for allergy to a drug called Lidokaina "lidocaine",

The doctor said that the two most commonly used local anesthetic in dentistry in Poland and in the world

The doctor said that if I'm already on the allergological ward, She will make me a complete diagnosis with tests for allergies, I had them done repeatedly in childhood, and several years ago.

After these tests came out that in addition to allergy to grass and pollen, I have an allergy, but very small, for dog and cat and peanuts, but that's BS, I ate a lot of peanuts in various forms and nothing ever happened to me, but the doctor insisted I reduced their consumption in the summer.

It's the same thing with the cat, I once had a cat (though I am a big fan of cats, I know that sounds really gay) unfortunately the cat died because he ate something poisoned, it was very sad, but I never felt any unpleasant reactions associated with the presence of a cat in the house, besides the dog I also had almost 14 years before I was forced to put her to sleep.

I dread picking up the phone too many awkward silences

posting here is awful on my iPhone.

the keyboard pops up...then it disappears. then it pops up again...and it's gone again. repeats around 5 times.

this happens every time.

I use the Android port of Firefox on here with my phone, and it drives me nuts. I haven't found any browsers for Android that really suit my needs, truth be told, but at least Firefox has some of my favorite addons.

I think most of the difficulties I have with mobile browsers have to do with the user interfaces they use. Touchscreens can be quite frustrating, since it's impossible to move around an webpage without touching it, which would be equivalent to clicking with a mouse. On a PC, you have scroll bars, and a scroll wheel on your mouse, but on a phone you have to touch to drag, touch to select text, or touch to click on things, and when you have links, selectable text, and blank areas all in close proximity to one another, it's easy to perform the wrong action by accident. You may accidentally select text when you're merely trying to scroll down a page, or open a link you don't want to open.

I've browsed the web in all sorts of different ways, on various game consoles (PSP, 3DS, Wii, PS3, even a softmodded Xbox original), on old flip-phones, on tablets (running iOS, Android, and Blackberry OS), on older Blackberry phones, and even with the text-based, keyboard-only Lynx browser, and I find that browsing on smartphones is probably the most annoying option there is, in terms of interface usability. Theoretically, tablets should be about the same, since they run similar software, but they work a lot better since they are larger and they give you more room for your fingers.

I don't really know what the solution for improving smartphone browsing is, other than to increase screen sizes, and optimize websites for easier browsing. Tapatalk is not a solution either; I don't want to install a bunch of separate apps just for some random forums I've come across while googling that I don't actually feel like signing up for.

Lol....differences in opinions. I on the other hand really only access this site(and most others) on mobile devices. I've always been obsessed with small handheld gadgets from Gameboys to tablet PCs. Currently I'm typing this on a mini physical keyboard attached to a Motorola Droid 2 (a slide out
keyboard for the phone) and I love it. I love having the ability to take my "pocket computer" anywhere and post to this board from anywhere!

P.S. I'm on Android 2.3.7 (CM7 Gingerbread) running the Opera Classic browser. I've used Android so much that I know which different browser to use for different functions.

That's because the forum tools this site used are god awful for anything mobile and are outdated pretty badly, they were made in a time when almost everyone used a desktop computer for browsing the internet

I've encountered this issue with a lot of third-party browsers, but not with Safari.
