Sorry to go slightly off topic here... the term "Math" is an abbreviation of the word Mathematic, if I am not mistaken?
Surely the subject is Mathematics? which I believe is a plural, so the abbreviation would be "Maths"
England has many faults, like the 5 months of dull grey damp winter for one, but we can be proud of some things!! !

It is a difference between British English and American English. In British English we say maths or mathematics, but Americans tend to say math. In any case math / maths / mathematics is always used as a plural. There is no singular form "mathematic".

The English are correct and the Americans(and Canadians) are incorrect in this instance.

In American English you "do math", and attend "math class", and complain about how you are "bad at math". So of course "math games" is correct.

Your child plays in the sand, and you use "sandpaper". You don't use "sandspaper"! Only poets speak of "the sands of time".

"Math" is like "sand", or "grain".

The way you Brits say "maths" grates on the ear like "sandspaper"!
