I need to write a short paper on information economics

I write about the economic importance of information and knowledge, many do you consider that information as something intangible, there is no measurable value, it and it does not.
I consulted with my professor, he advised me to write something about the importance of information in the banking sector or sport, the professor said that the information often is of great importance when planning major decisions, in science, business, military, sport etc.

Can you recommend my some good lectures about Information Economic

information is a commodity
business cannot make decisions without it
financial analyst are paid big $$$ to research

look up 'technical analysis'
that's what they do for every stock, every bond, every trend etc....
