I broke my tablet ! (sob)

I broke the (cheapo) RCA tablet that I went to SO MUCH trouble to get , which I could barely afford- :cry: .
I am homeless , I thought it would keep me touch at least - There's so many (I assume) Aspies in the Seattle area and , certainly , almost all of them have more computer skills than I- :( - Could , maybe , someone meet me and help me to repair it ?
Get it back in working order .
PLEASE . This is a short post , I have to go back to my shelter on thos incredibly rainy (when I was outside the library) night :( More later .

Any idea in what way(s) you broke it? Will it just not turn on? Did you drop it?

...Dropped it . The library is closed to-day , and of course will be tom'w , I'll likely not be able to post at length til' the 26th , I am on a expensive FedEx's pay Internet computer now .

I understand you're upset about the tablet but how do you want someone to help? I've been homeless too so I sympathize with your situation.

Do you access the state, local, and private groups who assist the homeless?

(Of course I am not referring to the tablet issue, but I am speaking more generally.)

What level of assistance have they been supplying to you in recent months?

With respect to the tablet issue, I wonder if any of the local computer repair guys would help you out?(not to fix the tablet, which is obviously gone for good)
Would you consider asking them?
The guy I know has first gen iPads that he refurbishes, when business is slow.
Often these private repair shops have older tech just sitting around. I know a guy(in my city) that is given old PCs no one wants and he does PC builds and gives them away to shelters and agencies, just because he's a nice guy.

I know you are hurting very badly over this loss.
I hope you can find someone to help you move forward.
